Mark Weston assists with the development, creation and execution of strategies to assist landowners who wish forever to prevent inappropriate uses of their lands and associated resources.

Working often with specialists in allied fields including law, engineering, landscape architecture, accounting, agriculture, and natural resource management, Weston advises his clients as they wrestle with choices. Frequently, as an experienced and well-known real estate appraiser, he prepares detailed written reports that synthesize relevant issues and provide well-supported opinions of the market values of clients' real estate holdings.

About Mark

Mark Weston is respected by his peers and clients as an experienced professional, both throughout Colorado and nationally.

Since beginning his employment with the Colorado Division of Real Estate, Mark no longer provides appraisal or appraisal review services in Colorado. He remains licensed as a Certified General Appraiser in Wyoming, Utah and Alaska. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Denver's Graduate School of Librarianship, and a Bachelor's degree from The Colorado College.

Mark has provided expert testimony in Colorado State District Courts in Denver, El Paso, Douglas, and Gunnison Counties. Other expert testimony has been provided to the Colorado Board of Assessment Appeals, Douglas County Colorado Board of Equalization, U.S. District Court, and the U.S. Tax Court.

In addition, Mark has authored several publications on the valuation of conservation easements, and has developed & taught courses on this complex subject.
